Why Rent?

If you have a temporary furniture need (typically less than 2 years), renting furniture is probably best! We remove all the hassles (selection, delivery and setup) with your furniture and pick it up when you move away. Renting furniture can be a deductible business expense for you or your company. Styles may be frequently changed and you can experiment to find the look you want. If you like your furniture and want to keep it more permanently, there is always a purchase option so you may own it. As always, buying furniture is also an option at Hoffer.

How Do I Select My Furniture For Rental?

You can build a quote online, call one of our skilled leasing & design consultants, or come to our centrally located Houston showroom (8100 Westpark Dr.) where we will help you in determining your preferences and budget. We understand style, decor, and floor plans with an interest to assist you to furnish your new place quickly and easily.

What Needs To Happen To Set Up Delivery?

Once you have selected your furniture items, we will send you a copy of your delivery ticket to review along the rest of the paperwork that needs to be completed and returned before we are able to secure your delivery. This includes a rental application, charge authorization form, and rental agreement, along with a copy of your driver’s license and/or passport. We also will need any special delivery instructions such as which floor you will be on or if your building requires elevator reservations.

What Is The Condition Of The Furniture?

At Hoffer, we have to keep the world’s largest furniture rental showroom stocked--so you will constantly see brand new items on our floor! All of our rental furniture is cleaned, sanitized and touched-up in by our experienced service technicians between each rental ensuring that you receive a top quality, clean product.

Is There Much of a Selection Available?

We have the broadest selection of quality home and office rental furniture showcased in the largest rental showroom (36, 000 sq. ft.) in the world! What Kind of Commitment Do I Need to Make?

That’s up to you! At HOFFER, we rent furniture from one day to a lifetime. We can tailor a lease term to fit your needs. Many of our clients opt for a six month term lease to match their apartment leases. Rates vary with the lease; however, we provide significant discounts for terms of six months or greater.

Do I have To Rent A Package or Can I Choose Individual Pieces?

You have many options: Choose from our pre-selected whole-home packages coordinated by our design team, customize your selection using our Package Builder for a package personalized to you, or choose piece by piece the items you want! Our residential customers typically rent furniture for their entire home or apartment, so we create whole-home packages including the 18-pieces that typically fill a one-bedroom apartment. In the Living Room, we include a sofa, coordinating chair, coffee table, end table and a lamp. The Dining Room features a five-piece dinette (table with four chairs). For the bedroom, we include a queen size bed (headboard, foundation, mattress, frame), a nightstand with a lamp, and a dresser with a mirror. From there it is easy to change the size of the bed, add an extra nightstand, television and TV stand, patio furniture, artwork, housewares, and more to make your transition as comfortable as possible!

Is There A Minimum To Rent?

Our minimum rental is $100/month with 6 month lease terms and $150/month with three month lease terms.

What if I want to rent for less than three months?

We can certainly set you up on a shorter lease term! We have rates for one and two month leases, and can actually set up a rental for as little as a day for photo shoots, events, trade shows, and more. Please contact us for short-term rates and minimums.

How do I find What I need for my space?

We can assist with space planning and interior coordination. With the help of one of our designers, we will walk through your space, take measurements, discuss your needs, style and budget and work to find you the exact items you need!

What Is The Delivery Process?

Typically, your furniture will arrive within two business days, Monday through Friday, from when your rental has been approved. Our veteran delivery team has an average of 10 years experience in setting up beautiful environments for homes, offices or events. They will deliver and install the furniture according to the space plan, including hanging artwork, giving it a cleaning and making sure your space looks beautiful when you arrive. In most cases, deliveries can be scheduled within a two-hour window so you don’t need to stay around all day. For deliveries into an apartment, simply notify your apartment management office of your delivery, and they will let us in to deliver or pick-up your furniture, which allows you to arrive to a perfectly set up home when you arrive. We have a one-time fee for delivery, installation and pickup of the furniture at one location, which is typically $150 + tax, but may increase based on the amount of pieces, delivery circumstances, need for a designer-assisted installation, etc.

The Hoffer team is able to deliver across the entire state of Texas. We typically work within the greater Houston area, including The Woodlands, Spring, Kingwood, Humble, Tomball, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land, Richmond, Rosenberg, West University, Bellaire, the Medical Center, Downtown, Midtown, The Heights, The Energy Corridor, Westchase, Pearland, Friendswood, Pasadena, Baytown and more.

Can I buy furniture from Hoffer?

All of our items are marked to rent or to buy. If you see an item that you like on the website, please contact us with the model number, and we will provide you with the retail pricing.
