Who can say no to a burger and fries? The Burger Joint, right smack dab at the intersection of Montrose and Westheimer, is a local favorite for all things indulgent. Pick your poison- a double meat, double cheese burger, a milkshake, a beer, or even all three, and pick a spot at one of the many tables outside. This restaurant is almost exclusively outdoors, offers lots of fans and TVs, making it an ideal Patio Weather Day spot. Theyâve even got some goodies for your pups, including a âpuppy shakeâ and homemade dog treats.

Axelrad
If you havenât been to Axelrad yet, you are missing out. This outdoor beer house is a popular spot- get there early if you want to snag one of the highly coveted hammocks! They have plenty of seating, and always have events going on in their courtyard, from shows by local musicians to Monday movie nights, which they show on their big projector screen. Theyâve got over a dozen beers on tap, and a cocktail menu which has something for everyone. Around the corner is Luigiâs Pizzeria, so you can get your Italian food fix while enjoying those crisp evenings.

Tiny Boxwoods
Tiny Boxwoods gorgeous lawn is the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner, or a weekend brunch with the girls. The wicker chairs and abundant greenery always makes for a great Instagram photo, too. đ On a gorgeous, sunny day, itâs the kind of spot you want to sit all afternoon! Donât forget to save room for one of their famous chocolate chip cookies! Or visit their sister location, Tinyâs No. 5, and visit their Tinyâs Milk and Cookies window around the corner for a unique dessert experience.

Present Company
This spot is a new-comer to the Houston scene, having opened just this summer, but itâs already off the charts popular! They have a huge patio, complete with misters, and cabanas (which can be rented out!). The whole place screams âPalm Springs in Texasâ, and their Texas themed wall decor is quickly becoming one of the most âgrammed spots in the city. Their drink menu even consists of cocktails made with La Croix- the ultimate patio beverage!

The Classic All Day
The Classic is yet another concept from the same restaurateur behind Benjyâs and Local Foods. Their patio features a fun wall of plants, and a pergola for just the right amount of sun. Just like its sister spots, The Classic features a gorgeous interior, with just the right amount of retro vibes. Their menu resembles that of an updated, modernized diner, with fresh takes on things like grilled cheese and a classic cheeseburger.

Barnabyâs
A Houston classic, itâs hard to go wrong with Barnabyâs. With multiple locations across the city, youâre never too far from one, either! Grab your pup and a friend (to split their huge portions with!) and head on over! With such a diverse menu, there is something for everyone, no matter how healthy (or unhealthy- we donât judge) youâre trying to be.
