As COVID-19 cases continue to fluctuate, so are our food cravings! We are missing all of our favorite restaurants just as much as the next person. Remember, many restaurants in Houston are still offering a safe, contactless option for you to get their food! Here are some of our favorites:
11660 Westheimer Rd #115, Houston, TX 77077
Some of the best thai food in town, and you don’t even have to order on a delivery app as they still have their own old-school delivery service! Don’t miss out on the fresh shrimp spring rolls – they’re some of Houston’s best.
5115 Buffalo Speedway #900, Houston, TX 77005
Chinese has always been one cuisine to stand up to food delivery times, and this one is not to be missed with their quality ingredients and big portions. They also still have their own delivery service so you can avoid the Favor fees.
The Original Carrabba’s
3115 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098
A local favorite for decades before it became a national chain, and there’s no surprise why. The Original Carrabba’s fills a true Houstonian’s Italian cravings anydays. Maybe skip on the calamari for takeout, but the pasta and chicken Bryan Texas is just as delicious as ever. And be sure to ask for the traditional salad pre-dressed to get it the way you love it in the restaurant.
3130 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77098
It’s like we’re back in the early 90’s ordering fajita party packs, but this time with margaritas to go! Always ask for extra green sauce… It goes great on everything! Pro tip: we’ve been using our leftover tortillas, beans and rice to make freezer burritos to stock up on!
3435 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098
We can’t forget about pizza when putting together a list of top food delivery options around Houston! Forgo the big chains and stick with this hometown favorite. Luna Pizzeria is from the group also behind Barnaby’s and Brown Bag Deli, so you know you can expect some delicious food coming out. Their pizzas have that perfectly chewy crust, and the salads make for a great accompaniment in this time where we could probably all use a few more vegetables after living months of quarantine life.
Here at Hoffer, we work with so many people moving into Houston, so we want to give you insider access to our favorite take-out spots! Don’t forget to shop and eat local to support the businesses around you as we get through COVID together.
