Apartment Tour - Hanover Montrose Before and After

Today’s blog post is a special one! It’s a tour- a before and after of an apartment unit our design team put together at Hanover Montrose. We’re going to give you a special, behind-the-scenes look at how our team works!

Before we get into this, let’s talk a bit about the property. Hanover Montrose is a relatively new luxury mid-rise. They’ve got gorgeous views of our city, and great amenities. Going into this project, we knew we had to take it to the next level. Of course, our design team was up to the task.

This particular unit was done for a client. However, we also specialize in model units, and mini models for multifamily communities! Much like staging a home, setting up an apartment model makes it so much easier to sign on potential residents. It makes it so much easier for them to visualize the space as their own, and think about how they’d fit their own furniture in. This behind-the-scenes look will give you a great idea of just what we can do with a multifamily space.

Here’s some photos of what the space looked like before we got our hands on it (and furniture into it!)

Incredible views, right?!

A beautiful gourmet kitchen.

We loved this fireplace and all the storage the built-ins offered. We knew our design should highlight these awesome features.

And finally, a couple of bedrooms- all with incredible views like the rest of the place!

Our Process

Whenever our team takes on a design project, we can either work with you to figure out how you want the space laid out, or we can do all the work for you. We can even do a site walkthrough with you to really get a feel for the space, and what would work best in it.

Once we’ve got the plan figure out, and know exactly what to bring to the space to really make it shine, it’s time for the fun part- furniture.

Here at Hoffer, we have a dedicated team that helps with installations. They deliver and assemble the furniture, and come back to pick it up when you’re done with it. They proudly wear our company name, and support our company values- one of which is amazing customer service. When our guys show up, they actually care about you, and the furniture, so you can expect the highest quality experience.

In the industry, it’s pretty common to hire third-party movers who don’t work for your company to do the heavy-lifting. It’s cheaper that way for the business! But we believe that what you’d be saving in money, isn’t worth what you’re losing in customer service. 🙂

Once the furniture is there, safe and sound, it’s time to start putting it together and arranging it.

Our team immediately got to work on this table, and adding the extra leaf to it. The unit we were working on wasn’t small, by any means, so we knew a full 6-seater dining table would show just what this space could do.

Model installations typically take several hours to complete. But our team got it done, and the finished result was so worth it!

Without further delay.. Here’s what you’ve been waiting for- the after!

To match the high-end vibes of the Hanover, we went for a more timeless, luxurious look. We stuck with neutral tones for our color palette in the living room, with pops of metallic accents here and there. We kept everything light and bright too, to accentuate the already gorgeous natural lighting.

We did add in some color, too! Pops of blue both on our table setup and on wall art added some dimension to the space. For the dining table, we opted for a full set. When potential residents view the model, they can easily envision themselves hosting a fancy dinner party at this gorgeous table.

For the kitchen, backless bar stools were best to keep the sightlines open, and not block the view of the open floorplan. Adding in a few homey-touches to give the space a cozy, lived-in feel and really help potential residents visualize themselves whipping up a meal there.

We kept the bedrooms simple, and to the point. Even though most people’s real-life bedrooms aren’t this minimal and neat, it’s what potential residents want to see in an apartment model. It keeps the space open, and lets them really admire those huuuuge windows!

Our team really enjoyed working on this project for Hanover Montrose. Getting the extra opportunity to help make a space beautiful for someone is something we’re always looking forward to.
If you’re in the multifamily industry, and your community needs an apartment model, give us a call! We also do mini models, for those units that need just a little extra push to sell. Filling out empty spaces with furniture has incredible effects on potential residents. It’s human nature to love a pretty space– and it’s our job to make pretty spaces a reality!
